The Liberation Room at New Haven Pride Center

Escape New Haven is excited to announce a limited time only, pop-up escape room in New Haven. Puzzle enthusiasts at the New Haven Pride Center have created “The Liberation Room,” a LGBTQ-themed escape room located at 84 Orange Street, that will be open to the public March 6-17, 2018. Reservations can be made at http://www.newhavenpridecenter.org/programming/monthly-events/liberation-room/. 

The scenario finds participants trying to locate a key to recover the main banner for the Pride Parade; the parade organizers had it locked away and forgot where they put the only key. Fortunately, they left a trail of clues through a seedy club, a drag dressing room, and an LGBTQ+ resource center. Solve the puzzles to get the banner and save the parade!

Teams of 3-6 can book online for a one-hour slot. You can sign up as a group, or sign up as 1 or 2 people and be matched up with new friends. Admission is $15, or $12 for Pride Center members. You can also use code “ESCAPE18” when booking for 10% off! 

Once you play the Liberation Room, you can reserve a time to play one of four games at Escape New Haven – just send us proof of purchase of Liberation Room tickets, or a ticket to the New Haven Pride Center Gala, and you’ll receive a promo code for 10% off bookings at Escape New Haven.

We’re proud to support the New Haven Pride Center, a local organization dedicated to providing educational, cultural and social enrichment for the LGBTQ+ community, its allies, and members, to make a positive contribution to the entire community of Greater New Haven. This Liberation Room project is important to welcome the public into the Center to learn more about LGBTQ+ history and culture.
